MTH Pumps manufactures the Simplex aerial firefighting pump that quickly refills onboard helicopter water tanks for fighting forest fires from the air.

The MTH aerial firefighting pumps were designed to reduce the refill time of helicopter based water tanks from over a minute to as little as 30 seconds, which increases the number of water dumps per hour that aerial firefighters can place on a wildfire.  This time advantage increases the chances of slowing or stopping the fire from endangering lives, property, and vulnerable forested habitats.  Pumps include bumpers and debris screens to allow use of natural water sources closest to the fire including local lakes, ponds, and rivers.
