Pump Altitude Calculator
This tool adjusts pump conditions for elevation changes, assuming flooded suction and electric motor drive.

This calculator adjusts pump performance values to account for changes in elevation, assuming a flooded suction and an electric motor drive. As elevation increases, atmospheric pressure drops — reducing the available Net Positive Suction Head (NPSHa) and requiring motors to be derated at high altitudes.
By entering your pump's original conditions and site elevation, this tool recalculates:
- Adjusted NPSHa based on elevation
- Derated brake horsepower (BHP) if applicable
- Flow and Head remain constant for reference
